Dear Tracy, Thank heavens I don’t try to sell my house very often! I had forgotten how emotional it can be: • Open House was like having your mother visit the first time after you left home (and you worry that everything is as perfect as can be) • Waiting for the final pricing was like staying up till midnight to find out from the newspaper if you passed the matriculation exam, and it felt like your whole life depended on it. • In between open house was a bit like living in Vogue magazine house. You remove as many signs of normal habitation as possible and feel as if you are living in a vacuum, cleaning everything as you go. Mind you, it would be nice to retain some of these habits instead of reverting to ‘normal’. However, through all of this you did a lot of ‘hand-holding’ and your team worked extremely hard to obtain an extraordinarily good result!!!
