Bill and I are writing to thank you, Oliver and the rest of the team at Tracy Yap Realty for the brilliant job you did in selling our house in Marsfield. We believe that it was because of your good work that we got almost $100,000 more for our house than we expected. We could not have been happier with your service. You were always honest and incredibly helpful. We knew we could rely on you, and that isn’t something that can be said about every real estate agent!
The first sign that we were going to get excellent service from Tracy Yap Realty was when you arrived with a team of around ten of your staff to have a look at the house. That meant that all these staff could speak about our house from personal experience. You gave us great advice on what to do to prepare the house for sale. After every open house, you contacted us the same day to give us a report. Not only that, you contacted us on other occasions through the weeks to tell us about the progress of negotiations with potential buyers. It is very rare to deal with a team who always follows through on their promises, and pays attention to every detail. Here’s just one small example; after Oliver took the photos of our house and put them on the web, we made some small repairs to the house. When we told him, Oliver came back and re-took the photos and put them up again. By the way, the photos were so good that even our friends didn’t recognise the house!
The auction day was a huge success - twelve registered bidders! I’ll never forget that day; you had many staff members on hand who were able to assist potential buyers, helping to translate in several languages when necessary, and others passing around Minties! The auctioneer and his assistants were really professional. When the price climbed further and further above the reserve, we just couldn’t believe it – reaching almost $100,000 than we’d expected!

Dear Tracy, Thank heavens I don’t try to sell my house very often! I had forgotten how emotional it can be: • Open House was like having your mother visit the first time after you left home (and you worry that everything is as perfect as can be) • Waiting for the final pricing was like staying up till midnight to find out from the newspaper if you passed the matriculation exam, and it felt like your whole life depended on it. • In between open house was a bit like living in Vogue magazine house. You remove as many signs of normal habitation as possible and feel as if you are living in a vacuum, cleaning everything as you go. Mind you, it would be nice to retain some of these habits instead of reverting to ‘normal’.
